Moments after each workout is released, two or more CrossFit Games competitors will go head-to-head to set the scores to beat

Ten years ago, the first CrossFit Games event was held on a cement slab at the Ranch in Aromas, California. What started with rowing, pull-ups and push jerks that day has over the last decade morphed into a global phenomenon.

The fourth workout of the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Open will be announced from Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Friday, March 18th at 11am.
Immediately after 16.4 is announced, the reigning Fittest Woman on Earth, Katrin Davidsdottir, will face bronze medalist Sara Sigmundsdottir.

The workouts for the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Open will be announced live from affiliates across the United States.
Moments after each workout is released, two or more CrossFit Games competitors will go head-to-head to set the scores to beat.

In 2016, there are two Teenage and five Masters age groups (14-15, 16-17, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+).
The third workout of the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Open will be announced from CrossFit JAX in Jacksonville, Florida on Friday 11th March at 12noon and immediately following there will be a clash between champions Shawn Ramirez, 41, and Nicholas Paladino, 17.

Although 24 years separate the two athletes, they should be closely matched. In last year’s Open, Ramirez cleaned and jerked 280 lb. to Paladino’s 260 lb. At the Games, Ramirez finished Amanda in 6:07 to Paladino’s 5:32.
