Term 1 2018 - CrossFit Anarchy Teens Program is set to get underway this Monday 5th February 2018.
Term 1 will run Mondays and Fridays until Friday 30th March

MONDAY - TEENS - 4PM

FRIDAY - TEENS - 4PM

To ensure we have enough instructors for each class (our class sizes are limited) please confirm your place ASAP if you haven't already done so.

Don't forget to bring a drink bottle if you don't already have one in the fridge.
Looking forward to another great term, new goals, new achievements, more fun.

TEENS PROGRAM
Our Teens program has one major goal in mind- PERFORMANCE. This program will teach your teenager how to be explosive and powerful in whatever athletic endeavor they choose to participate in. On top of that, because the workouts are constantly varied, they are less likely to fall prey to the overuse injuries that plague common training routines and year-round sports.
The recommended age for our Teens program is 12 years and older or year 7 but this can be discussed dependant on your childs athletic ability and interests.

PRICES for TERM 1
Teenagers - 2 sessions each week

1 child: $160 for the term
Families
2 children: $280 for the term
3 children: $400 for the term

Payment plans can be arranged to cover the Term cost, please discuss with us if you would like to utilise this option.

Any queries feel free to message Tony on 0418 590 797

CROSSFIT KIDS AND TEENS - RULES

6/12/2016

Just like the 'Box Rule's' for all our parents we have rules for all of our CrossFit Anarchy Kids

CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely absolutely geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population. (Neurological, cognitive, motor)

Why do we have rules?
Our Rules exist to keep all of our kids and Teens safe.
Form and correct technique is our number one prioirty and always comes first.
All children are asssessed as to whether they are ready for a Crossfit Kids and Teens program and assigned to the appropriate age group. The age group is not necessarily based on the age of the child but more the maturity, skill level and ability to understand and listen.

Our Rules:

1. HAVE FUN: Our most important rule! Everyone is here to have fun through movement and play.

2. LISTEN TO YOUR COACHES: We ask that all our CrossFit kids and Teens listen to their Coaches. They are here to help and guide them through the correct technique and movement to ensure everyone is kept safe.

3. ENCOURAGE OTHERS: Crossfit kids should use encouraging words to themselves and others.

4. NO PLAYING ON THE EQUIPMENT DURING CLASS UNLESS INSTRUCTED: There will be time to play after the class, we ask that all CrossFit kids only use equipment during the class as they are instructed.

5. HAVE FUN: Our most important rule, we just thought we would mention it again!

6. WE NEVER SAY 'CAN'T': We always give everything a go. There is nothing we cannot have a go at, we will improve every time we practice. Your coaches are here to support and encourage you to try everything at your own pace.

7. WE NEVER LEAVE THE GYM DURING CLASS WITHOUT PERMISSION: All CrossFit kids must remain in the designated area during class time. Check with your coach before leaving the area.

8. FREEZE:
When you hear the word 'Freeze' or if the whistle blows....it means 'STOP' what you are doing and listen to your coaches.

9. HAVE FUN: You can never have too much fun!

10. IF YOU BREAK THE RULES:
If the rules get broken all kids get 1 chance to show their coaches they can listen, the first time will result in a warning from coaches, the second time will result in a child missing 2 minutes of the game and if disciplinary issues still exist the child may be asked to leave the class.

    Mission:
Doing what is best for children

    Overview:
CrossFit Kids was founded in 2004 by Jeff and Mikki Martin and is a method for teaching Greg Glassman’s CrossFit to children, ages 3-18. Based on the principle of Mechanics => Consistency => Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means that consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

CrossFit Kids is meant to be BIG fun for all ages. Broad-Inclusive-General fun. Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which means less childhood obesity and all-around better health for our children. Further, the needs of second graders and high school varsity wrestlers differ by degree and not kind; the program is scalable for any age or experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status one can find in a class full of kids. CrossFit Kids is designed to be minimalist; it is inexpensive and often requires little or no equipment, allowing a wide array of socioeconomic groups an opportunity to be physically fit and physically active throughout their lives.

CrossFit Kids programs can be found in over 1,800 gyms and more than 1,000 schools worldwide.
